DEVELOPMENT AND OPTIMIZATION OF INDOMETHACIN NANOSUSPENSIONS USING DESIGN OF EXPERIMENT APPROACHES

ABSTRACT
 Objective: In this study, it was aimed to prepare nanosuspensions that contains Indomethacin which is a BCS class II drug. To assess the cumulative impact of chosen variables on nanosuspension properties, 34 factorial design applied and particle size distributions were examined.
 Material Method: solvent/antisolvent method used in preparation suspensions. design. Design-Expert software for evaluation prepared formulations order obtain best formulation. PVA ratio, molecular weight, ethanol/PEG ratio as independent parameters, their effects distribution Result Discussion: Nanosuspensions successfully by method. Particle polydispersity index found be affected both weight percentage anti-solvent phase (p ˂ 0.05). 0.2% PVA; 31 000 solvent-antisolvent 3:50 optimal parameters formulations. The optimum formulation 301.5 ± 31.1 nm 0.159 0.035, respectively.
